Hello all!
I have been working very hard to modify the Marina theme to fit in with my website, and it is turning out very nice. Many thanks for this great theme.
The problem that I have is that no matter what I do, I cannot get the Preface Middle area to hold a block. Granted, I have very limited designing abilities, but even in my install of Marina (unchanged code) it won't work either. Two "real" web designers have looked over the code and are perplexed that even though I have a block with an empty .gif in "preface middle", it doesn't show up in the html.
Also, the Preface first area block doesn't show on all pages. You can see this on my site www.smartstyler.com , if you click on archive you just get the alt text of the logo picture.
I have spent the last 2 days trying to fix this, now I bow my head to those wiser. Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry the site is down
I am far from a pro but I will try and help since this has gone unanswered.
This is where to look
#preface-wrapper #preface-middle {
}
Place the image in the middle preface add css to local.css
This may not be the right or best way but the way I got it to work add
padding-left:(whatever desired)to the above.
As far as it not showing up in the HTML was the block saved?
I would be easier to see if it was up
Sorry hope this helps
Thanks
Thanks for your help. I reinstalled the theme, and have got it working better, but still having some difficulties with it (esp. the logo picture not showing as a graphic on some pages, just the alt text.) I will be going over it with someone, and I hope to find the problem.
Thanks again,
