OK, so it's a bit late to plan a January Drupal-Chicago event, so let's start on February. Yours truly is giving a presentation on Drupal 5 to the DePaul Linux Community (DLC) at DePaul University's Loop campus on 15 February. All local (and not so local) Drupalistas are welcome to come and help/heckle!
DLC has suggested a joint-meeting, which sounds like a fine idea to me since we're talking Drupal all night. There will also be pizza and punch provided by the school. Rumor has it that there may even be one or two big names from Drupaldom around as well. ;-) Remember to RSVP so that we have an idea of how many people we need to plan for!
Location:
DePaul CTI Center Room 226
243 S. Wabash Ave.
Chicago, IL 60604
When:
15 February @ 6:30
Access: Driving to the Loop sucks, but if you want to, it's at the corner of Jackson and Wabash. It's much better to come by train. The CTI building is a half-block south of the Adams/Wabash stop on the Purple/Brown/Orange/Green/Pink lines or a short block east of the Jackson stop on the Red Line. For more information, contact DLC:

(The web site will be converted to Drupal shortly. :-)

Just want to figure out where to RSVP for the event, if it's by comment, then count me in.
Room change
Just a reminder that the presentation/meeting is one week from today! Also note that the room number has changed. Same building, but we're in room 226. We're also considering doing a videocast, if we can get the setup for it working by then. :-)

Did you ever get to do the video cast? Is so, I would love to see it. Can you point me in the right direction please?
Thanks,
