I've volunteered to try to find the best predictable schedule for our monthly Drupal meetings and am hoping for some input! It might be easier to get some higher and more consistent attendance if the meetings are set further in advance and are on some sort of a schedule. I was thinking along the lines of "every third thursday at 7" or "the first tuesday of the month at 7:30". So throw your suggestions at me and then when there are some choices that are emerging, I'll do a poll and we'll go from there. Thanks!

meeting times
Wednesday evenings are the only reliable day for me. Some Thursdays work but not on a regular basis. Tuesdays almost never work except at last minute if Underwater Hockey is canceled.

Thanks for taking this on,
Thanks for taking this on, it will be great to get a predictable schedule down.
Thursdays, particularly late in the month, seem to be taken up with other user group meetings, so I would say Tuesday or Wednesday, probably early to mid month. (The Brillobox isn't open on Mondays)
We'll probably have to post a new poll at the start of each semester as grad students (and maybe undergrads someday) get new schedules.
someday? I'm undergraduate.
someday? I'm undergraduate. :P
Haha, that's right!
Haha, that's right! I keep forgetting since you have such a mature air :P
Dad's schedules are rough, too
Hard to say definitively as my son's fall soccer and hockey schedules haven't been posted yet, but I'll vote for Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. 7pm-9pm works well for me.
Thanks, Emily!
Wed is my preferred day for monthly meetings
As Lindsay said, there are many other IT groups in Pittsburgh that hold their meeting on Thursdays. If we could avoid Thursday, that would be great.
It sounds like Wednesdays
It sounds like Wednesdays are consistently good for people so let's try that.
Lin - We should talk about trying to line up Brillobox for the next 6 months or so. It seems like they might not mind holding the space for us if we can start getting some larger groups to attend since people with presumably be buying appetizers and drinks.
