With the first Wednesday of the month being this week, are we meeting up this week?

I assume so

I expect to be there, although I am taking a little time-out so would have to travel into Bristol for it, so long as there are a few people going I should make it.

I have particular theming related question to resolve by consensus if possible, but need to do a little investigation first.

I am...

I'll be there

I will only be able to stop for the ever-fated "one or two" tonight... but I will make sure I do.

And I'll see you all underneath the table at 11pm I guess :(

I shall be there. See you

good night

That was another good night.

Some interesting discussion about themes, best practises, worst habits, and the future - in Drupal 8. As well as debating where/with who the responsibility for theme logic sat with (the coded developer or the css designer).

Up my end of the group, we had some interesting ideas of how to get people to agree to cookies... and also discussed (slightly OT) the pros and cons of modern technology with regards to exposing you to theft, fraud and/or kidnapping.

Incidentally, this is the website I mentioned, which aggregates publicly shared info from foolish people:

(I'm yet to make my star appearance)

Here is the twitter feed Marcus mentioned, @NeedADebitCard, and a news story on the phenomenon http://ph.omg.yahoo.com/news/tweeting-debit-card-account-aims-shame-1435... - which I still think is simply unbelievable!!

I have on my list today to look into the Omega theme, with regards to mobile/responsive layouts, cheers for that :)

There was real positive movement on the idea of a formalised talk in the coming weeks too.. was that with you Oliver?

It was a good meet-up. Nice to catch-up with everyone again!

There was a really good session on Omega/Responsive design by Jake Strawn at DrupalCon London:

A useful overview of base themes, I too will be taking a look at omega, thanks Derek.

I use Omega as a base theme

I use Omega as a base theme for the vast majority of sites. Instant responsive goodness! :)
