What's Upstate New York?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

What's your definition of "Upstate" New York? North of Rockland County? Or closer to Ohio than Manhattan?

I'm learning Drupal, learning to implement, implementing, and learning (small steps) to start to do some development.

I'm outside of Buffalo, NY, wondering if there are any Drupal users/developers in the greater Buffalo area?

Upstate would probably depend on who you talk to. People in the city seem to think anything north of Rockland is 'upstate.' Some people think anything outside NYC is upstate ;-). I live in Orange County, and I don't consider myself upstate since it takes me 1 hr to get to NYC but at least 5 hrs to get to Canada.

I am in delaware county, just off of Ulster, Green and Schoharie counties. I consider myself upstate. About 3 hours to NYC. About 4 hours to Boston.
