Hey all,
While trying to optimize load times, I found this simple method to be useful when wanting simply access fields of an entity without further hook invocations - http://lechronicles.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/lighter-version-of-loading-fi.... Thought it might help someone and also looking for feedback to better it.
