Hi folks,
Like Mike said, I'm here to promote and facilitate anything and everything having to do with the Digital Government Strategy, with a specific focus on APIs and open CMS. With over 100 .govs running Drupal and that number climbing quickly, it's in all of our interests to flesh out and promote as much of this as possible.
In particular, we should try to aggregate, build, or otherwise arrange the guidance, documentation, tools, models, and support to make implementation of any and all of the strategy's milestones so easy and straightforward that not only can each of those Drupal .govs do so in their sleep, but also other agencies might find a better path by migrating to an open CMS.
I'll be catching up on some of the other threads but in short wanted to say thanks and yes, this is the forum where we as an opensource community should accumulate and coordinate anything that Drupal has to contribute to the forward progress of a digital US government.
Thanks a bunch, folks,
Gray B.
