ATF Looking for Another Long Term Developer

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is looking for an experienced designer/developer to join the team working to build and maintain their web presence (https://www.atf.gov) using Drupal. You will work with other Drupal developers, content managers and key stakeholders to create and maintain the official ATF website. You should be an experienced and motivated individual who is willing to tackle and solve problems whether they’re front-end or back-end. This position is in the ATF building in Washington D.C. and all applicants must be able to pass a background check.

Security Scared

Received invite today. I'm a long-term gmail user but got scared while building my google+ "circles". This is a great user interface but I'm just not comfortable sharing my relationships with Google's core.

Since federal agencies can access these records without a warrant or notification, why should I make it easier for them? (Even though I am a law abiding citizen.)

The US Federal Labor Relations Authority is now in Drupal

The Federal Labor Relations Authority (www.FLRA.gov) launched 1 Oct 2009. It’s a nice looking site and it looks like they are using standard modules. The “decisions” search is nicely done. GovExec.com wrote a nice article about the site as well.
