DrupalCon São Paulo 2012: Latin America embraces the future of Drupal

This year DrupalCons are going to take big steps forward: We will not only have, for the first time, three DrupalCons in one single year. But also, the first DrupalCon south of the equator is going to happen in Osasco, state of São Paulo in Brazil. From December 6-8, 2012. You are invited to bring a little Carnaval to Drupal!

The talks of DrupalCon São Paulo will have a deeper developer focus but, of course, there will be plenty of content for designers, themers, architects, engineers, and the business of Drupal. Be sure, there will also be a lot of talk on Drupal 8 as we will have just entered Drupal 8 feature freeze.

We are really excited to announce a new feature: We will have simultaneous translation for talks in other possible languages than English (particularly Portuguese and Spanish). So, if you want to do a talk at the DrupalCon, no matter which of these three languages, you can submit your awesome session until 7th of September. The DrupalCon is becoming more and more multilingual!

The Drupal Association offers scholarships to active Drupalistas who want to attend the conference but otherwise would not be able to do so by covering full or partial conference registration, travel and lodging, and assisting in acquiring international visas. You will be able to apply for scholarships until 14th of September 2012.
