Orchestra Team Attending DrupalCamp LA
This year, Orchestra will be present at the 2009 Drupal Camp L.A. taking place at UC Irvine. This is a great opportunity for us to gain more knowledge of how to use Drupal, interact with some users of Drupal sites, and work with a lot of the power users in the community. Both Chris Bloom and I are going to be attending this two day conference. This year's theme is sand, sun, and code, so hopefully we'll get to have some fun while we're down there.
Orchestra will be representing the SAP Business One crowd for integration to Drupal and Ubercart sites.
In other news, Dogfish Head Brewery is featured on the front page of the www.drupal.org website. Check out the post on how Inclind, Inc built the site using Drupal. It's a great example of how Drupal can be a scalable and powerful way to manage content for your website.
Drupal Camp Los Angeles 2009 - August 8-9th

DrupalCampLA is the annual FREE conference organized by LA Drupal to unite and improve the Drupal Development Community in Los Angeles and the Greater Southern California Area.
DrupalCampLA is an unconference-style Drupal training, founded in the style of BarCamp. While there are some differences (DrupalCamp does more pre-planning on the sessions), they have the common goal of bringing smart people together in an environment that is accessible to everyone.
This generally means that you will have a lot of very smart people in a small space who have all come there with something to share and a desire to learn. Since this is a free+cheap event and on a weekend, we also get to welcome folks who can’t usually take the time or money to go to commercial conferences – so it’s a lot of fun with fresh faces.
Since this is a free event and entirely volunteer run (and no, this is not our day job), we also expect active participation from everyone when it comes to running the conference. This is as simple as picking up after yourself or actively fixing something if you see it’s broken, but please feel welcome to take an active role in making this a great event. We set the stage, but all of you make this happen!
