Its been a while.
I was reviewing this node : http://groups.drupal.org/node/192968 and I sighed .... oh what lofty plans we had for Drupal Camp Nigeria 2012 .... oh what lofty plans ...
I can only say in our own defense ... we 've been busy ....
Anyway, we are looking at putting together Drupal Camp 2012 in Lagos this year.
Tentative date is November 17th or 24th . proposed venue is still CCHUB , Lagos .
No lofty plans ... no 3 day event ... not even Abuja ... no flying down Dries ...
A small Camp to try and create and sustain awareness ... networking within the Drupal Nigerian Community .... this time , we must try to keep the momentum going .... please if you are able to help out in anyway ... please lets know ... registration will be up soon ... we will need sponsors ... we will need refreshment ... speakers at all levels ... and much more ...
Basically , lets do much better than last year ... and maybe ... just maybe we will be able to do the massive national event next year
now trying to round up the team from last year.

Been wondering if there will be no camp this year because i benefited greatly from last year camp, if there are ways in which you need me please tell me, i am more than very interested to participate.

whats the status
whats the status on the next drupal camp, what are the goals, is there a team in charge of organizing this? i didnt make the last one in lagos. @badesemowo if you have neen busy, why not delegate, surely there should have been an active and cohesive team that remained from the last year's event.

No date yet , but we will definitely have DrupalCamp next year (in 2013) .
We tried to delegate 2012 edition but it didnt work as planned .
There is really no cohesive team at the moment , just a few individuals who love Drupal and are trying to give back to the community . Some of us have gotten busier . We need all the help we can get .
A tentative date will be announced sometime in January .
