This is based off our tshirt report. Though this doesn't take into consideration how many women picked men's tshirts.

So there must be lot's of women who rather choose a men's cut - or don't even bother ordering a women's size beforehand any more.

Thought for next time
I've got an idea that might help for next DrupalCon.
This report of demographics was also based on t-shirt selection in Denver. I kept thinking about how to encourage more people to complete their Drupal profile so that women would be better counted since it is likely some to many choose a men's shirt. There were several messages to attendees to ask for completion of profiles for badges in Munich, but no mention for women specifically (that I recall).
For the next DrupalCon, I'll ask for a message to go out asking women to stand up and be counted by filling in their Drupal profile. Maybe that will help with accuracy. It's worth a try.
Asking women specifically will skew the statistics
Lets say that 20% of conference attendees are women, and 50% of attendees complete their profile. If that's totally random, chances if you look only at attendees who have filled in their profile then about 20% will be women. If however you were really successful and got every woman to fill in her profile, and looked at the same statistic then it would appear that nearer 40% of attendees were women! (because of all the uncounted men).
Maybe just ask the people handing out t-shirts to keep track of how many mens t-shirts they give to women?
