About Accessibility Camp LA
Sessions can cover all aspects of digital accessibility and end-users with disabilities, from the web, to software, mobile phones and apps, online gaming, open source innovations, and everything in between. Watch this brief video from the first Accessibility Camp Toronto to get a feel for what to expect during the day.
Regardless of your level of knowledge, this event is for you. It will be a great opportunity for members of the design/development, usability, accessibility, other IT and end-users with disabilities communities to interact and learn from each other. We recommend you browse the Frequently Asked Questions, especially if you have never attended a participant-driven BarCamp/unconference before.
Accessibility Camp LA takes its inspiration from the first Accessibility Camp DC, which was held in October 2009. Sister events include:
- Boston Accessibility Conference
- A11y Camp Guelph
- Accessibility Camp Seattle

Is anyone interested in attending this and possibly presenting on Drupal and its accessibility features?
Accessibility is a topic that not many of us think about. Fortunately, there are a lot of resources we can draw upon:
https://drupal.org/about/accessibility
http://groups.drupal.org/node/85199
http://droplabs.net/events/2012/05/09/global-accessibility-awareness-day
We can also talk about any of these topics at the next Frontend Drupal meetup on October 30th.
