Event type:
User group meeting
We hope you can join us for the next meeting of the Spokane Day-Time Drupal Learning and Co-Working Group!
- When
- Thursday, October 18, 2012, 10 AM to noon
- Where
- Spokane County Library - Argonne branch, 4322 N. Argonne Road, Millwood (in the small conference room - go past the circulation desk and take a right)
- What
- Learning and "co-working" time - bring your laptop! Come with a project you're working on, a desire to volunteer to improve Drupal in some way (documentation, programming, design, marketing etc.), a question about Drupal you would like to get an answer to, or a desire to help others with their projects and questions. Or just come and observe.
- Who
- Everyone is welcome -- the only prerequisite is having some interest in Drupal. This group is small and friendly, and consists mostly of self-employed individuals who prefer to meet during the day to share knowledge about Drupal, and you're welcome to join us!
Note: If you'd like to have a meeting at another time that is more convenient for you, please feel free to organize it! See http://groups.drupal.org/node/161584 for a Wiki where people have listed when would be convenient for them to have meetings.

Possible topic
If no one else has any ideas, I might be working on (and demo-ing) updating some sites from Drupal 6 to 7.

What we actually did...
It turned out that what we actually worked on was:
- Debugging a "White Screen Of Death" that one attendee was experiencing on her local WAMP install of Drupal (turned out to be due to not enough PHP execution time)
- Tweaking the display of a View on another attendee's site (10 results per page instead of 20, and with larger images)
- Setting the home page on a new site
- Fixing the main navigation menu on a site
- Changing some content type display settings and understanding the scope of what they apply to
Come next month, and you can get your questions answered too!
