What we require and what we have already

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

The foremost question while thinking Drupal as LIMS is: What does the LIMS do?
Once we identify the requirements, we can identify modules, themes and custom modules/scripts as well.
I would like to know the LIMS as well as implementing it.

Hi beautifulmind,

Take a look at the Overview and list of modules, and feel free to contribute your ideas. At this point the requirements statement is based only on the needs of the two people who founded this group (myself and Rudy) which are somewhat similar. But there is no reason at this point to put any limitations on brainstorming.

I have some more requirements documentation written up, which I'll post as soon as I can. Meanwhile, anyone else in the group is welcome to add to the existing wiki pages.
