I've been getting tons of calls/emails about Drupal work in the last 6 months. I just did an alexa search today since I was curious what traffic has been like on drupal.org. It's gone through the roof over the last 6 months:
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/drupal.org
and based on this, drupal.org is now ranked in the top 1000 websites!
Note that joomla.org also saw the same pattern during that time period and has a higher rank that drupal.org.
It will be interesting how this plays out over the next year.
Go Drupal!

indeed very
indeed very interesting,
have a look on the trafic rank tab, there is strange spike on start of last week march`2009
do you know a reason ?
go go drupal !
more interresting
is that in some countries it is one of the most viewed sites overall!!
TOP 600!
one of the explanation is that Alexa has changed some methodics how rank is counted and maybe some "balck hat" Alexa tools are not working anymore...

I've worked with both
I've got more experience with Joomla than I do with Drupal. I actually have been working with it since before the Mambo split
Night and day... I'm extremely glad somebody had suggested I try Drupal on Twitter... Just hours before I was going with the full commitment and installing Joomla too.
For what it's worth, I expect to see Drupal slingshot in popularity beyond Joomla. Though, maybe that's just because I've had many personal battles with Joomla and can't stand to face it as a worthy opponent.
I'm showing #845 on Alexa and #4,124 on compete at the moment. Not sure what Joomla is at.
