There is currently a module called freemind that allows users to view a mindmap of taxonomies on the site, and uses the Open Source Freemind software: http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
We may have a need for a site (a quick need) to be able to do more than just view mindmaps, but create, save, and edit them. All within Drupal.
This is beyond my scope of coding knowledge - so is anyone interested in assisting in building this functionality?
The site it will be for is going to be used for a college course, and instructor/students will need to be able to create a mindmap within drupal so that others can comment on it, and all the other usual editing of own or other's mindmap files/node based on permissions, etc.
The course starts soon so the timeframe is limited.

Are you looking for a visual interface like FreeMap, in Drupal? Or having content rendered into a Mind Map with that content's related content?

Basically...
UserA creates a node that loads the Freemind browser java/flash app.
UserA saves the node, which saves a .mm file to server (if necessary)
UserA or UserB can go in, the node loads the visual editor, and allows Users to make changes to the mindmap, and re-save.
Need for this to be built quickly (as in by the middle to end of next week August 25-28 if possible), and developer(s) will be paid for the work on agreed upon amount.
