User group meeting
The Sarasota Drupal User Group is happy to announce that our meetings will now be held at the University of South Florida Sarasota Manatee at 8350 N. Tamiami Trail in Room B106.
Stephen Barker will be presenting an overview of deployment strategies (moving your site from “dev” to production) in different versions of Drupal. We have great things coming in Drupal 8.
USFSM has a nice new campus with great facilities – we will have access to a projector / screen and their WIFI network.
Our October 2nd meeting will also be a forum to welcome new members and plan out our next meetings.
We will also reserve time for total beginners and people that want to get some advice on projects they are working on.

Great Presentation
If you have never seen the cool new Drupal 8 "deployment" technology then you have missed out - Steven did a really good overview of current deployment strategies and demoed the new Drupal 8 stuff -- which looks very slick.
