The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is seeking a Drupal Website Intern. This is an unpaid position which offers the successful candidate a unique opportunity to be involved in web development at a major non-profit. This position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:
The Drupal Website Intern will help set up the new Drupal installation for the new OMSI website.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Help setup and configure the new Drupal installation, including:
Install new OMSI graphic template.
Set up user accounts and permissions.
Build navigation structure and menus.
• Train OMSI staff on how to operate and maintain Drupal.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
• Experience configuring Drupal installations.
• Experience with HTML.
• Familiarity with Joomla a plus, but not required.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working in an office or classroom setting.
• Experience operating the Drupal CMS in a web environment.
TIME COMMITMENT:
Minimum of 10 hours per week for 10-14 weeks.
