Issues with Feeds

I am having some issues with Feeds. What is happening is that I have a 516 line CSV file that I am trying to import using feeds and convert each line into a node. The problem I am having is that Feeds will upload the CSV file but will not parse the file and make the appropriate node. I've tried about a dozen different times to get feeds to work, including deleting and creating a new feed profile, uninstalling and reinstalling the module, deleting the uploaded file from the server, clearing the cache, ensuring the feed profile contained the proper settings, etc. I by luck got it to work once, but unfortunately I had the CSV headers named incorrectly. If anybody has been able to get Feeds to work properly for importing nodes on D7, I'd love to hear how you did it.

Line endings

Jeremy - Check the line endings to make sure they're Unix-style. If that isn't the problem, I'd employ hook_feeds_after_parse and devel to see what Feeds is doing with your data.
