Node import

I am having some issues with Feeds. What is happening is that I have a 516 line CSV file that I am trying to import using feeds and convert each line into a node. The problem I am having is that Feeds will upload the CSV file but will not parse the file and make the appropriate node. I've tried about a dozen different times to get feeds to work, including deleting and creating a new feed profile, uninstalling and reinstalling the module, deleting the uploaded file from the server, clearing the cache, ensuring the feed profile contained the proper settings, etc.

tengo que importar 110.000 registros a un tipo de contenido (con node reference).
lo estoy intentando con node import, y funciona. Pero es lentiiiiiisimo.
conocen alguna forma de optimizar la importación?

I'm about to take a look at the Feeds module for importing some content. I think Nate said he used it before or was going to look at it in the future? Let me know if anyone has any tips about the module or if they want to know anything specific about it. I'll post some feedback about the module if I have any.

Jag sitter med ett projekt som går ut på att överföra en massa databasinformation från en MySql-db till Drupal. I originaldatabasen finns massa kortreferenser mellan titeln på samtliga inlägg (texter, filmer, bilder) och själva informationen, samt mellan varje information och vem som har upphovsrätt och vem som skickade in materialet till sidan. Med andra ord - ett himla härke av korsreferenser.

I'm trying to import some 'project' content into Drupal using Node Import. I have about 3,000 projects that need to be added as om_project content types, and this was the method described by Kevin to get it done.

Overview: The Unified CMS Import Module (UCIM) should allow users to import content from several different content management systems for use within Drupal. This should include importing from WordPress, Joomla, Mambo and Moveable Type.

A new website will help Seattle startups find worksites for rent or lease. Initially, worksite information will be bulk entered with a customized Node Import module. One data import field will be email. A module modification is needed to assign UID with an email lookup. If a UID is not found, a stub user account automatically would be created as node owner. Once a worksite node is imported, an anonymous user, who owns the associated email, could claim ownership with a request for new password.
