streaming speed from S3

For my information, can one have a decent streaming speed from S3 servers? Our material is mostly going to be audio and video. Thanks

We're just putting a podcasting site on to S3 for streaming. In tests mp3 playback using a flash player on a web page works great.

The speeds are fine, although not amazing if you are outside the US it seems.
