Would like to relocate to the Phoenix area

I'm considering relocating my family to the Phoenix area and am interested to know about Drupal opportunities in the area. I currently live in a rural area of Idaho and am sick of the cold winters. I have been working remotely as a freelancer and contractor for various companies around the U.S., but would love to settle down with a local employer in the Phoenix area.

I'd like to know what it's like to be a Drupal developer living in and around Phoenix. How prevalent is Drupal in Phoenix? Do opportunities abound, or are they far and few? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I would have to say that the Drupal development scene is pretty good in Phoenix. I've been a Drupal developer in Phoenix for the past 4 years and I've only seen the work increase and the demand for Drupal increase.
