Let's get set for another organization meeting. I'll post location and time details once I have them. I'm working on getting a room at uOttawa for the evening next week.

The goal of the meeting is to have definitive due dates for all tasks and schedule regular meetings (either in person or digitally) from here until the date of the event.

Meeting this Thursday?
I wanted to sign up for meeting #2 when I noticed there are 3 attendees thus far and I am assuming that is because most people are involved in GTEC and other Conferences this week. I am personally in Toronto for the week for a conference and meetings and won't be able to attend this planning meeting on Thursday. Is there an alternative date and time we can work with. I think it would be more valuable to have a large number of attendees and I have quite a few suggestions that I woud like to personal add, definitely would want to attend.
Any thoughts?
The room is booked already
The room is booked already and there are a few items which need to happen soon. I think we'll have the meeting if not just to get a complete list of due dates set for all items. We'll schedule a follow up meeting within the next two weeks to continue the discussion. I think we'll need to have regular meetings from here on out.
I'll setup a Google Hangout for people to join in remotely or call in if they like. I'll post the details in the event description.

Next meeting
Hey Matt, I've been ignoring these. Unfortunately I cannot make this Thursday, however let me take care of booking rooms at uOttawa (I think Rob mentioned this to me the other day). I think GTEC is going on this week which explains with the OpenPlus, OpenConcept, etc guys are all tied up.
Could we move it to next week instead? The room is available every day at 5:00PM until as long as we need it.

Well I'm going to be at uOttawa anyways on Thursday so I'll stick around for anyone who can attend tomorrow. We'll work on the master list of all tasks which need to be completed and some preliminary due dates. Also setup all the tools to help track the organization of the camp.
I'll coordinate with Lee and schedule another meeting for next week hopefully on Tuesday for more people to attend in person. We can use what we came up with tomorrow on Tuesday to help drive the discussion.
I'll send a request to book the meeting room once I confirm the date is good for people.

The logo I handed out a challenge to my designer to see if she can some up with something.
The dates we had decided were Feb 22 - 23 2013. If we get too many signups, we can look into session on the saturday as Lee mentioned earlier.

Meeting tomorrow?
Folks,
Do we have a follow up planning meeting for tomorrow? Do we have enough time to gather the troops or are we aiming for Thursday now?
Matt, I can also help with logo design, I'm sure our Graphic Designer would love to contribute if we need the help/additional hands.
I'm also speaking with Acquia today. They've already expressed interest to me and I am discussing details a little further with them. Is a route we would like to go down, having Acquia as a major partner/sponsor of the event? It would definitely help bring in some great keynotes and afford us more opportunities.

That's one of the things we still need to sort out, because multiple people have already been in touch with them, so it probably should be coordinated.

Ok I just spoke to Greg from Acquia, he likes where this is headed but also agrees we need to collaborate on this initiative and set up a conference call with a few of us that are involved with both Acquia and the Drupal Camp event. He also said he will be speaking with Mike(I believe today?) and we will all coordinate with each other to ensure a discussion is had as to the level of partnership/sponsorship with Acquia for this event!
