Join us on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 1-3PM for a 2-hour meetup at MindComet's offices in Altamonte Springs.
Since a number of us attended DrupalCon Paris, I was thinking that each of us (Ryan, Erik, John, and myself - hope I didn't forget anybody!) could talk about and possibly demonstrate something we learned at DrupalCon. Perhaps a favorite session, some new resources, or demonstrate a module or theme we learned about.
I'm thinking that I may run through my "45 Modules in 45 Minutes" session that I presented in Paris, although I'd also like to talk about some of the "Front End Performance" stuff I learned.
Anyway, if you want to present something, leave a comment!
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Thanks,
-mike

Introduction
Hello everyone! We just arrived in Florida from Austin, so I'm thrilled to see a meet up next weekend. I am looking forward to becoming involved in the Central Florida Drupal community.
Brief introduction: I'm best described as good ol' Drupal web master. I can start with a client concept, install core and appropriate contributed modules, and build themes. I'm also very good with taxonomy and content development... a newbie with PHP and module development. Right now, I'm working for Yoursphere Media, the team behind http://yoursphere.com. My job title is Development Team Coordinator, which mean I wear many hats!
Can't wait to meet everyone on the 19th!
Anne
DrupalCamp web site sprint!
After the meetup on Saturday, we'll be putting together the web site for Florida DrupalCamp 2010 to be held on Saturday, February 20.
If you're interested in helping out or learning how to build an event web site, be sure to stick around after the meetup!

Welcome
Hi Anne,
Glad to have a new Drupaler on the block! When you drive to Mindcomet look for the oddly shaped building with the large (smurf) blue entrance (most people miss our sign).
Drush?
Anyone up for doing a short presentation on Drush? How to set it up and the basics of using it?
-mike
Me
I can cover the using of it, but I've never set it up. I'll see if I can try it out this week (setting it up)
