Tuesday Nov 6th at 6pm we will be having our November Sarasota Drupal User Group Meeting at USFSM campus room B106. (remember to get a parking pass)
Karen Ziv will be presenting her experiences migrating a very large complex Drupal 6 site to Drupal 7.
I guess some other election thing is going on the same day but this will be much more interesting.

Wrap up
Karen did a great job explaining how her team is going about upgrading their site - it is a multi-month process that is more a do over and import existing users and content.
Next month Dec 4th I will be presenting on TWIG in Drupal 8 - it is the new template system that was just committed into Drupal 8 - without any working themes yet ;-( - but work progresses and lots can happen in a few weeks.
I may also include some things I have learned about SASS / Compass depending on my luck with TWIG.
