If you've looked at the latest release of OG2.x, you'll notice very quickly that there are now 2 fields for selecting your project/group when making a Reservation or Show...
While confusing, this addresses a number of issues stations have had with the way OG handled formatting the select list of available groups. Now in OG2.x, Producers can see the field formatted as a select list while staff are able to use an autocomplete. The list itself can be customized with Views so there's no longer an issue with the list not being sorted alphabetically or showing groups that are no longer active or have been reached a date the producer agreed to complete the project.
It's going to take some time to update all the OG based Views and code in the modules, but expect to see this happening in the coming weeks and an update to the Moderate Kit using the 2.x version of cm_project before the end of the year.
