I've had nothing but good success using DocumentLocator as my document management software solution, but would like to know what others think. Has anyone else used this before or are you even aware of it? My favorite part is how easily it integrates with Windows and Office. Hit me up if you have any questions, but you can find more information here: http://www.documentlocator.com

Have you done anything integrating it with Drupal? Appreciate the information even if it isn't. When you say it integrates with Office and Windows, is it using Sharepoint or its own infrastructure?

It’s standalone. The option is there to integrate with SharePoint but we’re not using it. Right now our connection with Drupal is through the DL search integration tool – for content searching. We’re using document locator as the document content tool publishing through Drupal.

Alfresco did Document Management right

So many of us looking for a solid Document Management solution in Drupal which currently doesn't exist. Alfresco did one thing right and that's there Document Management solution. The ability to upload a file, version control, OCR in document so your search includes words from within the document (<-- totally awesome) but of course alfresco lacks in so many other ways. I see a potential avenue in integrating alfresco in Drupal but of course the "ideal way" would be to have a Drupal Document Management module that has the muscle, technology, ability as alfresco does.
