Linking to different view types

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I'm sure this should be easy but despite googling, I can't seem to find it anywhere. In, say, a list of product teasers, which include images, I've chosen to link the images, titles, whatever to content. But it only seems to link to the default view type. I'd really like to choose the content I link to so I can link my teasers to different view types depending on what I want. I've found the View Mode Modal module which does what I want except it pops it up in a modal window. Any suggestions?

Well it didn't seem like anyone was interested :o) but just in case, I did find a solution through the contextual view modes module, http://drupal.org/project/contextual_view_modes.

Thanks for sharing the answer!

Hi PedroKTFC,

Your post certainly didn't go unnoticed, it's just that I didn't have time to look into this or reply.

In any case, I just wanted to thank you for sharing the answer, since I actually didn't know the module Contextual View Modes existed and that it could be used to achieve this types of requirements.

I will surely try investigating this further, spend more time testing this module, and let everybody know if I encounter any issue or would find a better way this could be achieved.

Thanks!
