I tried to install openscholar on localhost many times.All the times i am getting many errors.I tried to install on the godaddy server.It worked fine. Please help me.

The real problem is that you had error_reporting set to catch notices. This is the default in 5.3, while 5.2's error reporting does not.
Notices are not errors. They aren't even warnings. They aren't site-breaking. It will function just fine with notices. We built that version on 5.2, so we had Notice checking off, and all of those passed by us. We're building on 5.3 now, so it won't happen in future releases.
