I don't exactly contribute at this point, so whatever is convenient for others works for me. Would be great to see fellow Drupalers...and to feel like I have a life outside of work and home. ;)
Jan 17th could work,
I'm quite busy this month but with a little direction, I can set up a meeting venue in Grimsby.
I'd have to find something quaint for the after-meeting but that shouldn't be a problem.
Talk soon,
Serge
I just called Slainte pub in Hamilton. They weren't available last time when we tried the Winking Judge (http://groups.drupal.org/node/259613#comment-835508 Slainte pub has a better wine selection, wifi, and a projector and screen.) but they are available next Thursday so I booked the room just in case. I should cancel it soon though if you already have something in Grimsby.
Just a few questions as I prepare the venue and reserve seats at the pub...
Who's chairing this meeting; is someone preparing the agenda?
What time are we meeting; for how long?
How many are expected?
Any information would help.
Thanks
I was implying I'd have to claim that honour for myself.
As for the meetup, I will be interested hearing opinions on what is in store for Drupal in 2013. Are workflows going to stay pretty much the same? Is anyone treading on D8 yet? Is 6 becoming any less viable? You know, things like that.
Sounds like we have the basics nailed down. Serge can you create an event (you're the only one who knows where the meeting location is)

As for the agenda, what ever happened to that list of topics that we created in October? Also, we should figure if anyone is able to give a presentation - that may limit our topics.

Event created, thank for the link Dave.
I have half a projector with me... yes, half, last week it decided to go black-and-white only (didn't know that was possible).
If someone has a projector and feel that it's needed (at least the colour part of it), bring it along.
Cheers.

I'm game! I think at one point someone suggested a good location in Grimsby, or St. Catharines, or thereabouts. Does anyone remember that?

Happy New Year, everyone. . . .
Yes, it would be good to meet and hear what people have been up to.
No matter what, the WNY gang has scheduled its first Google+ Hangout of the year, next Wed. the 16th at 7 p.m.
Last month's had good representation from as far at Toronto.
Cheers!
When?
Are we looking at Jan 17th?

Too new? I respectfully disagree. . . .
Your input is as valid as the oldest old timer's . . . but let's not name names.

Last time...
I think we went with 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM last time, and that seemed to work out for everyone.
While I don't have a specific agenda request outside of what John suggested I'm happy to chair.

I'll throw one in the car in case we need it.
