Installing a D7 site in subdirectory? Is it possible with BOA?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have been unable to successfully install and use a D7 site on a subdirectory ( i.e. domain.com/community/) with my functioning BOA 2.0.5 server - using the procedure for installing non-drupal sites, i.e. putting the domain in /var/ etc..., and referencing the nginx_modern_include_conf file) . The site installs OK, but I cannot reach any page other than the home page - it must be a problem with the URL's and nginx, which I am brand new at using.

Before I spend too much time trying to do this (and I've' already spend quite a few hours), I just want to ask the BOA community if this is even possible?

SO, if I want to build a D7 site on the BOA 2.0.5 server, and have the site install on a subdirectory (NOT a subdomain):

1) Is there any way to do this within an o1 (Octopus) instance?

2) If the answer to #1, above, is NO, then is this also not possible anywhere (i.e. in /var/) on a BOA server, because of some nginx problem? I am using a standard default BOA 2.0.5 with PHP modern only and no customizations, and have tried using the D7 site installed in a subdirectory with various different "_include.conf" files including nginx_modern_include.conf, and "simple".

Can anyone out there state that they have successfully installed and are able to use / navigate in the admin ... a D7 site on a subdirectory on a recent BOA server?

Thanks for any input.

UPDATE: I now believe that no nginx served drupal 7 site can be installed in a subdirectory because of the way nginx handles paths and urls. If anyone has been able to do this, or thinks it possible, please let me know. Thank you.
