Linuxfest Northwest is coming back for 2013 -- the last weekend in April. After talking to some core maintainers, we thought it'd be a fun idea to do a sprint based around linuxfest northwest.
Sprinters are certainly welcome (and encouraged!) to submit a talk for LFNW, but the main goal is to get some sprinting done on Core in preparation for Drupalcon in May.
I'll also be leading a distros sprint, if people are interested. My main focus is on COD and Commons -- but if there are other distros that would like to host here, feel free.
Why Linuxfest Northwest?
* about 1000 F/OSS developers, sys-admins, and end-users. Its a grassroots, low stress event that isn't based around marketing
* BTC has ample rooms and internet access. We have a 1000mbps Fiber connection to the 'cloud' and small conference rooms with TVs and Projectors for groups to meet in
* The event is free! you just need to get here. Hotels are filling up quick!
* While sprinting is the main attraction, we also have a fun after-party on saturday, and many people will be getting in friday afternoon as well. It'd be a good chance to catch up with other developers as well as sprint.
