Midwest Open Source Software Conference (MOSSCon) will be held May 18 and 19 at the University of Louisville Students Activity Center.
We have a call for speakers out, currently. The deadline is March 22, 2013. If you're interested in speaking about Drupal (or anything else), feel free to email us. The link to the call for speakers is below:

I'd be willing to give a talk. I'm not sure what angle would be best though. Welcome to any input of what you think might be best received.

So far, we've received three submissions. Two talks are on specific open source projects. The third is on a company's specific contributions to and participation in the community.
I could see a Drupal talk going any number of ways, but I'm not sure what you would feel most comfortable with. Would you be speaking for yourself? Or for Louisville Web Group? I could see a topic on why and how LWG based its business model on an open source project -- somewhat a tangent of the third talk. I could also see a talk on the general economic benefits of deploying Drupal as a content management system. I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to approach it, too.

Hello there,
You can do a workshop on Drupal as well!
I think an introduction to Drupal (advanced/medium lvl), Module development, professional website building or something related to these would be great as a topic!
As Aaron said, the deadline is 22nd of this month. I'd appreciate if you submit your topic in time!
Thanks for your interest!
Cheers,
Altin
