I had reserved the back room in Denny's in Casselberry for the 3rd Monday for March through June through CFCS. There had been some discussion last month about meeting in March (18th), but I have not seen any discussion since.
Are we going to meet or should I cancel the backroom for March or all of the months? The time reserved is 7:00, but those who want to eat can get there early (I will be there by 6, so I am served and done eating by 7, but that is not necessary.). If we are meeting, I will bring a projector & screen.
Denny's expects a return for using the room, but does not charge for its use, only the food. CFCS has their Board meetings there and another SIG meets every month with about 25 people.
Please let me know if I need to cancel the reservation.

Agenda
Do we have any scheduled presentations?
Possible topics
I am not an expert and would like to see some suggestions on:
Using the Backup and Migrate module and how to move from a develpment site of to move TO a development site from a live site.
I am working on a site and would like ideas on how to accomplish some simple tasks from what I have and to see if they can be done using Views that I already have, creating new views or solving them in completely different ways.
Perhaps someone could talk on other topics. How many do we have interested in coming? What would you like to see discussed? Do you also have some stumbling blocks that others can share ideas for?
The meeting is tomorrow night. Do we have enough interest in holding it?

Cancelled
I am afraid that Don & I are the only people who committed to attending an Orlando Drupal Meetup scheduled for tonight. I will cancel the reservation for the back room at Denny's. Is it the location (Casselberry), the day, or something else that did not excite you enough to attend or commit to attend?
Orlando, after all, should be able to support a monthly meetup.

We're struggling mightily to
We're struggling mightily to get any momentum for these meetups. For April, let's count Florida DrupalCamp as our April meetup and also use it as an opportunity to identify who should be coming. I will push to make sure we have at least two of the six Mediacurrent people we have in Orlando attend. Everyone should look within their own circles and bring someone along.
We don't have to have massive turnouts but it does feel like we're starting over. Let's aim for 10 people at the next one and plan for it. Third Monday of May is the 20th - some will be at DrupalCon but let's figure out a good session for that meetup. Hewie's thrown up some suggestions - does anyone else have things they'd like to see?
My recommended format is:
- 30 minutes of presentation - single session announced ahead of time, at least one week before
- 30 minutes of show and tell - what cool sites/modules/themes/etc have people used
- 30 minutes of "how do I?" - Hewie's Views questions above are a good example of this
Thoughts?

I can get uncle Rob to set
I can get uncle Rob to set aside a room at Valencia any time. He had something reserved for tonight, but I have been too busy to even make a post on the group (or notice this thread until just now).
I can get his contact info to Don, Andrew and Hewie, but we should probably choose one point of contact to organize a May meetup. I can't make the May meetup, because that's when I'm putting on my Fringe show. Life will get a lot easier after that week.
