Hello ive tried to make this more chatty and less issue based as to tell you the truth im sick of myself for having to keep askign questions about things. I'd rather chat about it and maybe get some new ideas too.
I'd like to add a couple of features to my list of all OG Groups on my site. Ive asked about the net about them before but it all seems to predate 7.2 an with the changes of relationships etc there isnt much for someone to go on.
First thing i'd like, no love, to have is a Group Post Count display on my OG list View. The closest i have got is in this post on stackexchange

Im the despairing Reg Gordon at the bottom. Every relationship ive tried has failed. Ive almost gave up trying to have this feature on my OG List. I dont even want to post about it again (whats this all about then Reggy boy?)

I have tried to do it honest. I just fail miserably at it. I thought i would ask here as well without this on my list view my members are not realy that interested it would seem.
Also what i think would be great would be able to have the groups sorted by last node post date. The groups with the most recent posts at the top. Keep all the inactive groups down the bottom. Again seeing as i cant even show node counts i havent even attempted this.
Simarly i was wondering if it was possible to only show groups that have posts in them. I have it set up to create groups on sign up via rules. Just a shame that most of my members dont use their group. It means a lot of clicking for folks only to find out that there is nothing in the group. I suppose again if i had node count showing on the OG list main page then they would know not to click.
If im not being too greedy i'd also love to have maybe the last group post on display on there also. I dont think that this could be possible at least it wasnt in my last OG groups experience of a few years ago.
I dont know how Drupal groups works but i'd love (yes we know youve said that umpteen times) some of these features. My members are a little underimpressed with what ive offered them with OG Groups. If i could have some of the above i might just win them over yet.

Yes i know this looks like a thinly veiled attempt at getting some assistance but its not ONLY that lol There isnt much for OG 7.2 users to read about on the net and we all lurv Views with OG.
I'll help out all i can with whatever i can pick up and if other likeminded folks want to share thoughts and idea then thats all the better for us. Yes some of us might not have the knowledge and abilty of programmers but that doesnt mean we should shun drupal. Heh ive been at it for about 7 years now and only recently has some of the basics really sunk in.
Google has been my best friend in that time and i'd really like to nail how to make a great OG List page.
edit: yes i have been drinking. Drupal turns me to drink. It keeps me awake to keep trying to sort my drupal problems out.
