Drupal of Miami Workshop on Saturday, May 25, 2013

We will be on Google Hangout this Saturday starting at 12 Noon. If you can't make it to our workshop, maybe you can tune in on Google. This will be our first Google Hangout so if you have any problems getting in please call me, Ronald Norman, at 786-286-0773 and we will try to get you up and running. Our plans are to be on Google Hangout everyweek. Please come and join us for the fun.

Besides the the Google Hangout Dan Denysenko will be installing Drush and teaching us how it works. Dan Denysenko will be going over the commands and how they work. We will be discussing the pros and cons of Drush.

Another project we will be creating is an Drupal 8 Site called "Save Jackie Gleason", "www.savejackiegleason.com". We will be planning and implementing this site all using Drupal 8. This will give you a good look at what Drupal 8 can do and what needs to be added. We are looking at the future, how about you?
Save Jackie Gleason Project

We will be creating a new website to save the Jackie Gleason Theater. The objective is to inform the people of Miami-Dade County on the expense of tearing down the Jackie Gleason Theater and rebuilding not counting tearing down a historied site. This is a project that I think is a negative to an Icon, Jackie Gleason. If we tear down all of our history there will be no history.
