Coz.. you can find almost all the details/help in drupal.org or in drupal groups, community always help you whenever you post your queries.
First you define your requirements and search for the appropriate modules in http://drupal.org/project/Modules/name and for your modifications, enhancements or creating new modules you can refer to the Module tutorial guide at http://drupal.org/node/83055 . You can also refer to Drupal API at http://api.drupal.org.
