The UMass Amherst Bursar site was designed and developed in May 2013 by Joanne Patalano, Web Designer for A&F Administration Systems, in Drupal 7. I used the Omega theme, Nice Menus for the main menu and Menu Block for the sidebar menu.
I created about 14 fields and 15 views to display dynamic content on the document pages and other pages and used 70 modules. This includes 30 core modules and 40 contributed modules to configure functionality like a WYSIWYG interface for content editors. The contributed modules include:
- views
- cck blocks
- calendar
- email, entity reference, link
- WYSIWYG
- IMCE
- Auto Nodetitles
- Colorbox
- Entity API
- Secure Pages
- Site Map
- Global Redirect
- Page Title
- Honeypot
- Webform
A big part of this project was the information architecture: Organizing the content and creating an intuitive navigational scheme. Using google docs was helpful in creating mockups of the navigational map that I was able to easily share with the client. That shared environment enhanced the collaborative process.
