Vermont Group Tent Revival?

Hi folks,

The Vermont Drupal Group has kind of fallen off the face of the earth. My apologies for diving off the cliff first -- we were so busy this spring and summer I thought my head was going to turn to dust. But I am reminded by several of you that it would be good to see if we could meet again before the end of the year. I'd be happy to host sometime in November or early December at Young Writers Project's new offices in the basement of Champlain Mill.

Please join the discussion on how this meeting might help you, what types of things would be good to discuss or share.

Drupal Meeting

I have been waiting for a meeting to show up. I am one small step beyond (if that much) a drupal newbie and I imagine I could learn from a drupal discussion on any level, but of course, the more basic, the better at this point.

I assume it would be an evening meeting and if so I'm available most of Nov & Dec except Nov. 3, 9, 19-20(maybe), Dec 3-7

Hello!

I would love to participate in a vt drupal group meeting. The dates you mention above that I can do are Nov 3 (before 10a or after 3:30p), Nov 9, Dec 3, and Dec 4. If we need a meeting space, I would be glad to check into availability at my office (Champlain Mill Winooski).

You misunderstood my post. The dates I listed are the ones I'm not available - Nov. 3, 9, 19-20(maybe), Dec 3-7. I'm available all other dates at this point.

VT Drupal Group Meeting

We were talking with Orson Bradford of Tag New Media about a possible meeting sometime soon. Orson is checking into hosting at Tag. We could also host here in downtown Burlington. We'd love to show off our recent launch of http://thesolutionsjournal.com.

Sorry on the misunderstanding. Let me reverse that! I can do Nov 2, Nov 4-6, Nov 10. The rest of Nov is a no-go for me. I can also do Dec 1 & 2.

I'm pretty flexible...can't do 11/3, 11/6, but I think anything else works. I could look into hosting at Seventh Gen, if we need a place.

VTSDA meeting at Drink Thursday the 5th might conflict if we met that day or might be fun to pop in for a libation. Their gig starts at 5pm.

We do a running burger lunch at The Scuffer, bottom of Church St., on Wednesdays - half price burger day. Good local burger for $5 is hard to beat (veggie too). We usually meet there at noon. Might be fun to work around that if people want some mid day meeting fun.

No word from Orson, he's probably swamped. Do folks wanna meet in the evening? I'm flex.

What dates work this week or next? We'll never get one that works for everybody. We've hosted as has PCC in Winooski. Hosting at 7th Gen. would be fun if LadybugRed is still up for it.

It's looking like the 5th and the 10th are the most popular dates so far. Maybe the 10th would be best so as not to conflict with the VTSDA event mentioned by joegml? A late afternoon (4p?) or evening (6p?) works best for me.
