Drupal Global Training Day - 15th November 2013

Drupal training is here again. Mountbatten Ltd is organizing an event to train new people to drupal as well as experienced Drupal developers.
The first panel will be about introducing new people to drupal and the second panel will be about drupal distributions.

Summary
Morning Session (9am): Beneficial to people with no knowledge to basic understanding of Drupal. It will encompass a Quick recap of what Drupal is, Drupal’s strengths, Whatʼs in the box?, Installing Drupal, Take an administration tour, Common modules and configuration, Installing modules and then where to go next plus how to use drupal.org especially to get help.

Trainers: Solomon & Allan
After Lunch Session (2pm): This session is geared towards people who have used drupal before. Its will involve an insightful look at some of the major Drupal distributions(distro). We shall help you to identify when to use a drupal distro, What distro to opt for! How to install, setup, customise and contribute to a distro.How certain functionality was achieved in a given distro.
Since will shall be handling a number of distros at the same time, groups will be created and each group will access a given distro. At the end, the trainers will give a general overview. As well, anyone who has something to share will be given a chance to share it.
