90% sure I'll be there. It would be awesome to put together a caravan of people from Vancouver / Seattle / Portland and drive down. It's 14 hours from here, I've done it in one shot before (it's a long day though.)
I'm going, and I'm halfway tempted by the road trip, even though that's a bit of a jaunt. (Esp. from Vancouver - I'd want an overnight stay myself.) Flying is just so miserable.
I've done it both ways (my girlfriend and I drive to San Jose for a pinball show every year.) When we do two days we usually stop in Grant's Pass, OR which is still a haul from YVR. I agree on the flying, it just sucks so bad. This way there's some vehicular transportation to get around SF if need be as well, for parties and whatnot.
I'm thinking of driving my veggie car down or my veggie truck. Either way I can hold 5 people and a crapload of baggage. I'd be driving down from Bellingham, and if there are a few that need to get picked up from Vancouver, I probably could swing that =D
I have access to a veggie car as well and plenty of oil. I could probably hold 3 people as well. To do that I'd need to caravan with a vehicle that could haul a crapload of luggage and stuff :) or at least some fuel. I think I could manage about 30 Gal in the vehicle, which would be about 15 short of a round trip. As this will be my first DrupalCon I'm interested in what others will be doing for accommodations? I've found a hotel with 1.5mi of Moscone that is only $25 a night, and from the looks of it it isn't a roach motel. Suggestions?
Nope, I haven't moved anywhere. I was just trying to be considerate of our neighbors to the north. And we totally need to catch up. My d.o contact form will find me. :)
I wonder if there's a group for pregnant drupal folks. Cool, you're just a month ahead of me. Congrats!! I'm also hoping there will be good video coverage of sessions.
I'm going! Not sure on the travel plans yet... but I'm sure there will be a massive Vancouver contingent as well (who aren't piping up cause they don't follow the Seattle group). ;-)

My firm has an office in SF, I'd probably get to go despite our budget cuts but that's a week before my due date...sucky!
