Importing and exporting pages.

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Here is what I would like to do:

1)At a test site, create a series of related pages.
2)Refine, test and review all pages.
3)Import these pages into an 'live' site.

This would differ from 'pushing' a development site to a deployed site.
I am visualizing this as each page being a distinct entity that could be exported/imported.
And I realize that this may not be the 'drupalistic' way to do.

I made the reference at the last meeting that sometimes one needs
to "ask the right question" and the right question needs the right words in the right "drupalese".

So if any of you gurus don't quite follow me here and you are at the meeting, perhaps
my question could be one of the subjects.

cheers
tim

From what I believe you are

From what I believe you are asking you want to create content on site and and have it vetted (tested revised etc) and then with a simple line in drush or through a module take all of that content and publish it on a live site as is?

For this you could possibly use...
Node Export https://drupal.org/project/node_export
OR
Feeds https://drupal.org/project/feeds
OR
https://drupal.org/project/migrate

Personally I would suggest feeds or migrate take not this is for migrating content not content types if you also need to migrate content types using something like features would be very useful.

Hope this helps

err, modules, I mean. Thanks Brandon, that is what I need to get me started. And I can live with more than one line of drush. :)
