DASA Resource Building

Hello Everyone,

A little bit about the initial resources we're putting together:

Domain Registration

Adam is in the process of registering dasa.org.za for the DASA. There's some (but not sure) indication that we will be able to register the domain for free and our secretary (Adam Dunn) will pay for hosting for a basic account for a year as a casual donation. He will also be the personal name with which the domain is registered and we appreciate Ivan Breet making available the Adcorp Holdings address where they host the Johannesburg Drupal User Group meet-ups as a physical address for the domain registration.

Google Apps for Business

Thanks you to Lee Taylor who will then register and maintain a single account with Google Apps for Business (but can add distribution group addresses as needed of course). Here we can then also use Drive to collect DASA-related documentation.

GitHub

Then we thank Ivan who will set up a free GitHub account for us so that the community at large can collaborate more easily with further enhancements and contributions to the DASA resources. GitHub will also be our initial hosting spot for the dasa.org.za website.

I'll post a bit more from our minutes from the last meeting and include any updates around the second half of next week.
