I'm going to be in Miami visiting the Knight News Foundation, and have my Friday evening (Dec. 11th) open. Anyone up for a meal / drink and social talking Drupal?
I'll be traveling all day tomorrow (Thursday) so will check in at the end of day. I'm staying at the EPIC Hotel, so it would be great if there was somewhere close by / short cab ride to get to.

Very cool!
Mary Brickell Village is a nice outdoor mall spot with a few good restaurants and not too far from you. I might be able to hang out. Any other takers?
I can do it
I work only 2 blocks away from Mary Brickell and could meet after work if we could make it early, like 6.
I even have a topic -- how to convince my company not to blow a huge wad on having their site redone by a (yuch) marketing company.
Maybe connect at Tweetup?
I just found out about a Tweetup the same night not far from the hotel: http://taweet.com/t/1yt
More people = more fun, so I suggest we connect at that party.
Great idea

I think it's a great idea to double up with the tweetup. I know a few of the attendees and I know that they either use Drupal or manage teams that use Drupal. The event is well-located, and there are a number of fun places around there, if anyone is up to bar-hopping.
Out of fairness to the organizer, you really should RSVP through twtvite, even if it is just a "maybe". Here's a link to the RSVP:
