Is there anything anyone would like to see covered, or cover themself for the February meeting?

Tom, did you get a chance to read the High Performance Drupal book? Maybe could give us your thoughts on that?

Hey guys, I'd be in to a meeting. What to discuss.. hmm mmm...

Anything interesting anyone has been poking away @? I might be able to think of something interesting, or volunteer for something if anyone has any topics to throw out there?

Ok, should we try and come up with a few months of meeting topics this month? Say 6 months worth, so people know what to expect and presenters have lots of time to prepare?

I honestly haven't been doing any drupal lately and have been too busy to spend time getting a talk together...

Sorry I won't be able to be there this evening. As far as topic suggestions, I'm always interested in development lifecycle stuff, tools and techniques for automated site building, testing and migration, that kind of thing.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to this meetup. Some broad topic ideas:

Mobile: Drupal integration with existing mobile technologies like js frameworks, Cordova/Phonegap, responsive frameworks etc
Web services: Drupal APIs and related features, web service modules, web services integrations with external systems.
Drupal 8: the good, the bad, the ugly.
What makes Drupal special: Unique features, strengths, applications, case studies
News and community: Help each other stay on top of the most important happenings.!

gah - sorry to have missed. Looks like some great topics came out.

To add - perhaps we could talk about some optimization stuff within Drupal. Firstly, easy ways to see if a module needs optimization, settings, blocks, views - and then caching things manually, then perhaps in your own cache bin. Been playing a little bit with more of the latter stuff lately, and it's pretty cool.
