Those of you who know me from Drupal JHB meet-ups will know already how passionate I am about these privacy issues, people's personal privacy, security and so on... so you wouldn't be surprised if I don't just urge you to raise your voice in that topic, but to actually urge you to express support for Drupal to participate. Please.

Awesome momentum!
This sort of thing is what makes me feel so happy that I'm working with so many good and intelligent people. Well reasoned contributions and care for people and their rights. I can see why Drupal is as much a community as it is a framework.
The momentum for participation is already there now, but it would be great for you to immortalise your own position in a comment on the topic supporting freedom and privacy rights. If the comments to far is indicative, participation will go ahead.
