Need help getting the Schedule to work in COD 7

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I am relatively new to Drupal, and therefore unsure if this is the best place to ask this, but here goes....

I am in urgent need of a COD developer to help me with a key part of COD that is not working: the schedule. I am a developer working at WICHE (wiche.edu), and we would very much like to use COD for a large annual conference later this year, but I am now behind schedule on the project due to this obstacle.

I am working with COD version cod-7.x-1.0-alpha4+1-dev, which is built on Drupal 7.24.

I have made repeated inquiries at IRC channel #drupal-cod over the past few weeks which met with a limited response; I really need more of an email forum in which to discuss this.

My impression is that the documentation has not kept pace with COD's development, and it requires a deeper understanding of the data model that encompasses the content types of sessions, rooms, time slots and speakers to understand the following complex views: cod_session_schedule and Schedule: Session Grid (Field collection item)

Despite repeated attempts at following the documentation, and asking questions here and there in the Drupal community, I am unable to get a schedule to appear, which is obviously at the heart of any conference.

If I could make contact with a developer who believes they could help me, I would very much appreciate it.

Best regards,
Rick Casey

Wondering about progress

Hi there,
I am wondering how this turned out and if you have positive progress to report in working with this distro. We are also trying to work with COD to build a site for organizing conferences.

The schedule and event dashboard in particular seem to be either broken or difficult to configure in some respects.

Best,
Neo
