DrupalCamp Frankfurt 2014 is the first community event organized in the biggest city of the Rhine-Main area. On the 12th and 13th of April 2014 the event expects an international audience of more than 300 developers, themers, administrators and business people to come together for a weekend of professional development, fostering the Drupal community.
The goal of DrupalCamp Frankfurt 2014 is to organize a professional and international event for knowledge-sharing and networking around Drupal. Therefore, different sessions in English and German take place in which the participants can exchange know-how and collaborate on projects. This results in developing a better Drupal.
The Camp is organized by the German Drupal association Drupal e.V. with the help of individuals and companies from the local Drupal community.
2. Deutsche Beschreibung (en: german description)
Das DrupalCamp Frankfurt 2014 ist das erste Drupal Community Event im Rhein-Main Gebiet. Am 12. und 13. April werden mehr als 300 Entwickler, Designer und System- Administratoren erwartet, die Drupal professionell einsetzen, sich für Drupal interessieren und mit ihrer Teilnahme am Event einen Beitrag zur Community leisten möchten. Während des Camps werden die Teilnehmer an Drupal arbeiten, Wissen austauschen und dabei helfen, Drupal weiterzuentwickeln.
Aufgrund der Internationalität des Events liegt der Fokus auf englischen Vorträgen, für Einsteiger werden aber auch deutsche Vorträge angeboten.
Das Camp wird von Drupal e.V., einem gemeinnützigen Verein zur Förderung der Bekanntheit von Drupal in Deutschland, veranstaltet und von freiwilligen Helfern, sowie von Unternehmen der lokalen Community organisiert.
