Fun & Purpose - the mantra
I joined the group after listening to thought-leaders discuss the subject at DrupalCamp Mumbai. With our varied backgrounds and keenness for more effective governance in India, I feel together we can do wonders and contribute to change-making in more ways than one.
Being a community person, over the last few years I've been fortunate enough to organize and attend some exciting events around open source & media technologies as well as events showcasing other startup innovations. Now I would like to galvanize the open source community around governance and help organize a more focused summit and hackathon around governance solutions.
Besides my passion for the community, I've considerable experience as a web journalist in India, working with NGOs, and leveraging concepts like crowdfunding and crowdsourcing while on initiatives. In just the last 3 months of efforts around DrupalCamps and similar meetups, I've reached out to plenty of avid drupalers who also enjoy contributing to the community. I would like to bring them together with fun and purpose. Thanks
